Micelle Vigand Hegner

Micelle advises Danish and international companies on matters of commercial law, with a particular focus on disputes, contractual matters and litigation. She has extensive experience in handling commercial disputes, from the initial assessment and strategic advice through negotiations and the planning of the further handling of the matter. Micelle has also served as an appointed acting High Court Judge at the Østre Landsret (Eastern High Court of Denmark), which has given her valuable insight into the courts’ handling and assessment of disputes.

Micelle conducts commercial litigation before the ordinary Danish courts and arbitration proceedings in both Danish and English, including proceedings before the Danish Institute of Arbitration (Voldgiftsinstituttet) and the Danish Arbitration Board (Voldgiftsnævnet). The disputes she handles primarily arise from contractual matters, including questions concerning contractual interpretation, breach of contract, and the rights and obligations of the parties.

As part of her work with disputes, Micelle also advises on the drafting, review and interpretation of contracts and business terms and conditions, with a particular focus on preventing and effectively addressing disputes that may arise in connection with a contractual relationship.

In addition, she advises on corporate law matters, including cross-border mergers and other corporate matters for Danish and international companies.
